Open Call: Exhibition Dedicated to Holocaust Memory and Heritage (Hebrew text below)

Artists are invited to submit works for a one-day exhibition at a youth center in Jerusalem, focused on themes related to the Holocaust, including:

• Memory of Holocaust survivors

• Social aspects and consequences of the Holocaust

• Personal stories of our loved ones who survived

• The lost culture and world of Eastern European Jewry, destroyed during the Holocaust

Important: Works should not intersect with events of October 7.

Preferred mediums:

• Video Art

• Photography

• Installations

• Works on paper

• Digital art

• Performances

• Ready-made objects and reinterpretation of family relics

  
  

The exhibition is scheduled for one day but has potential to be repeated in an expanded format with a new status.

Submission guidelines: Please submit your applications by email to merhavumanut@gmail.com before March 22.

Your application must include:

• Artist biography

• Links to social media, website (if available)

• Complete portfolio (if available)

• Examples of works with a brief description explaining their connection to the exhibition's theme

Support for printing costs may be available for works requiring printing.

אמנים מוזמנים להגיש עבודות לתערוכה חד-יומית שתתקיים במרכז הצעירים ירושלים, בנושא השואה והיבטיה השונים, כולל:

• זיכרון ניצולי השואה

• ההיבטים החברתיים וההשלכות של השואה

• סיפורים אישיים של קרובינו ששרדו את השואה

• התרבות והעולם של יהדות מזרח אירופה שאבדו בתקופת השואה

חשוב: העבודות לא אמורות להתייחס לאירועי 7 באוקטובר.

• מיצבים

• עבודות על נייר

• אמנות דיגיטלית

• פרפורמנס

• אובייקטים Ready-made ופרשנות חדשה לחפצי משפחה

התערוכה מיועדת ליום אחד, אך קיימת אפשרות להצגה חוזרת של התערוכה בפורמט מורחב.
